The Panasonic TX-L37DT30B is part of Panasonic's latest range of 3D Televisions and is Panasonic's first entry into the 3D LED foray of Televisions. The DT30 range is the 3D and upgraded model of the highly popular D2X Series of LED Televisions.The Panasonic TX-L37DT30B builds on the success of the previous generation of televisions and introduces numerous of new technologies and enhancements. This 37 Inch 3D LED Television utilises Active 3D Technology, whereby the Active 3D Glasses (sold separately) do the magic to allow you to view the images displayed on the screen in 3D. Anti-crosstalk technology is used with the DT30 Series of television to minimize common crosstalk issues in 3D. This done by detecting when left images are displayed on the right image and is optimised to remove this information to provide a clear 3D image.Panasonic's Active 3D Glasses operate wirelessly from the 3D Plasma TV and display one Full HD 1080p image per eye to give a Full HD 3D experience. The glasses are stylish, comfortable and now re-chargeable meaning that you no longer need to replace batteries after a few dozen films. The glasses have been updated and now come in three form factors to suit any size of head. Large(TY-EW3D2LE), Medium(TY-EW3D2ME) and Small(TY-EW3D2SE) which are perfect for children to wear.Panasonic's Active 3D Glasses feature high-speed shutters to prevent light leakage. Highly precise timing control for the opening and closing of the shutters minimises unwanted light leakage to enable clear 3D viewing. The remarkable beauty of the Full HD 3D images is further ensured by VIERA 3D TVs and 3D Eyewear to achieve precisely linked operation.The Panasonic TX-L37DT30B utilises LED-LCD Technology with local dimming in order to produce excellent contrast that forms the reference in Full HD 2D and Full HD 3D LED Image Quality. This is due to the DT30B Range using IPS Alpha Technology that allow superb motion response to be achieved. Furthermore the Panasonic TX-L37DT30B features super-fast 400Hz Refresh Rate with black light scanning which adds an additional 3 new interpolated frames for every frame received. This means that between two frames sent in a 50 Hz screen, the DT30B Series creates 3 additional frames to smooth out transitions which helps when an object is travelling across the screen quickly such as a football. The DT30B Series then adds an extra duty cycle by altering the top and bottom of the back-light between each frame, guaranteeing the sharpest motion picture possible.The Panasonic TX-L37DT30B features Panasonic's latest IPTV Portal, VIERA Connect. VIERA Connect provides access to a wide range of applications and interactive games to the television. VIERA provides applications including Eurosport, Arte.TV Catch-up service and Facebook. Connecting to the VIERA Connect portal on your DT30B Television can done via ethernet or by using a Panasonic DY-WL10 Wireless Dongle (sold separately). Furthermore aside from the usual content formats of broadcast television and Blu-Ray 3D, the Panasonic TX-L37DT30B features an integrated VIERA and 3D Image Viewers. Using the VIERA Image Viera, you can connect a SD Memory Card to display recorded HD videos from your HD or 3D cameras and enjoy your favourite moments on your widescreen tv. The Panasonic TX-L37DT30B allows you to make free video and voice calls right from your front room with the inclusion of Skype™ software and accessories include.
